Tripura Road Transport Corporation (TRTC) on Wednesday starts its passenger bus service from Kamalasagar Kali Bari (Kasba) to GB Bazar, Agartala. Tourism Minister Pranajit Singha Roy inaugurated the bus service on the premises of Kamalasagar Kali Bari.

 

The inauguration of this bus service is being done for the convenience of tourists, Minister Roy stated when launching the passenger bus service. According to him, the state government is working to strengthen the state’s tourism infrastructure. He added that the government is continuing its efforts to transform the MBB Airport into an international one.

 

Additionally, he expressed the expectation that the expansion of the rail and air transportation networks would result in a rise in domestic and international tourism to the state.
