STATE : The use of cashless payment methods ought to be promoted and encouraged. Both financial transactions and administrative transparency will be facilitated by this technology. It was said by Sushanta Chowdhury, the minister of transportation, at the secretariat on Tuesday during the launch of a cashless transaction system in all district transport offices.
The state and the nation have seen a rise in the use of cashless transactions, according to the minister of transportation. Daily acceleration of this system is also occurring in Tripura. Financial transactions have surged significantly recently with the introduction of a cashless transaction system at the West Tripura District Transport Office.
Tripura’s all district transport offices now have a digital financial transaction system in place as part of this project. He claimed that during the last financial year, the state’s revenue collection was significantly aided by the transportation department.
He underlined the importance of increasing the acceptance of this cashless transaction technology among district administration officials and all transport department employees.
In the meantime, the Minister of Transportation congratulated every member of the Transport Department staff, as well as representatives from the State Bank of India, for their assistance in this endeavor, expressing the hope that it would continue to hasten the growth and development of Tripura in the future.
