Sourav Ganguly, the former president of the BCCI and a legend of cricket, has been appointed Tripura Tourism’s Brand Ambassador to expand the tourism industry of Tripura to new heights.
This news has come after Tourism Minister Sushanta Chowdhury met with Sourav Ganguly at his residence in Kolkata on Tuesday. Officials of the Tourism Department were also present.
However, Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha confirmed the news through social media that sourav ganguly has agreed to the proposal, and CM Saha also spoke with Sourav Ganguly over the phone.
CM Saha tweeted, ” It’s a matter of great pride that former captain of Indian cricket team Sourav Ganguly has accepted our proposal to be the Brand Ambassador of Tripura Tourism. Had a telephonic conversation with him today. I am confident that Shri Ganguly’s participation will definitely give an impetus to the state’s tourism sector”.
