STATE: Tripura is a rich state in terms of history and culture. There are many historical tourist centres in this state. Governor Indrasena Reddy Nallu told the media while visiting the Pilak Archaeological Center in Jolaibari on Thursday.

Incidentally, he said that Tripura is competing with other states in the country in terms of development and is moving ahead.

When Governor Indrasena Reddy Nallu arrived at Pilak Archaeological and Tourism Center, Additional District Magistrate of South Tripura District Pradeep K, Sub-Divisional Magistrate of Shantirbazar Sub-Division Manoj Kumar Saha and Assistant Superintendent of Aizawl Circle of Indian Archeology Department Dr. Salam Shyam Singh welcomed the Governor.

On the other hand, the Governor was given a guard of honour by the South District Police. The Governor then visited the Hindu and Buddhist archaeological sites at Pilak. During the visit, the assistant supervisor of the Department of Indian Archeology, Aizawl Circle. Singh briefed the Governor in detail about the archaeological remains. Governor Indrasena Reddy Nallu then also visited the Pilak Museum.
