An awareness seminar was organized jointly by Tripura State Pharmaceutical Price Monitoring and Resource Unit and Drugs Control Office. Smt. K. Sinha, Deputy Drugs Controller, Government of Tripura, Pratap Chandra Acharya, Assistant Professor, Department of Pharmacy, Tripura University, Shambhu Lal Chakma, Honourable MLA, Manav Debbarma, Honourable MLA and Tripura State Pharmaceutical Price Monitoring and Resource Unit Project Coordinator Dibakar Pal among others were present.

In this seminar, among the members of the Indian Pharmacists Association, Inspecting Officer Drugs of Tripura Government, Junior Scientific Officer, and staff of the State Drug Testing Laboratory, all issues related to the pricing and control of drugs were discussed.
