STATE : Mayer Gaman 2024 will commence on October 14 at 5 PM in front of Maharani Tulsibati Girls School. In line with the long-standing tradition of celebrating Bijaya Dashami in Agartala, this year’s Mayer Gaman ceremony will be held in front of Maharani Tulsibati Girls’ School.

To mark the occasion, vibrant cultural programs will be organized, and the front area of Maharani Tulsibati School will be adorned with lights. Final preparations are currently underway. The Secretary of the Department of Information and Culture emphasized the importance of making the event a success during a meeting at the secretariat on Sunday.

A meeting was convened under the leadership of PK Chakraborty, with other officials in attendance. It’s worth noting that a preparatory meeting was held at Muktadhara Auditorium on September 8, chaired by Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha, and a review meeting took place on September 22 at Muktadhara Auditorium in the presence of Agartala Municipal Corporation Mayor and MLA Dipak Majumder.

Excitement is building in Agartala city and its surrounding clubs in anticipation of Mayer Gaman-2024. The department has also taken steps for the live broadcast of the Mayer Gaman-2024 program.
