The Indian Railways has announced an official inquiry into the tragic Kanchanjungha Express accident that occurred in West Bengal. The inquiry will be closely monitored by authorities and the findings are expected to be made public upon conclusion.

The inquiry is scheduled for June 19 and aims to uncover the circumstances leading to the mishap. It will be held at the ADRM/NJP’s chamber from 10 am onwards, according to press release.
