Prime Minister Narendra Modi will visit Tripura on 18th December, Sunday. Ahead of PM Modi’s one-day visit to the state, the Government took all the necessary steps and security has been beefed up across Agartala.

According to the District Magistrate, Prime Minister Modi will arrive at the MBB Airport at 2:25 PM. During his visit, he will be participating in several inaugurations or stone-laying programs and also address Public Meet at Swami Vivekananda Ground, Agartala at 2:45 PM. To welcome PM Modi 16 Cultural groups will perform a traditional cultural program on the road from MBB Airport to Swami Vivekananda Ground.
 
Due to PM Modi’s stringent security precautions, the District Magistrate has informed that there would be restrictions on vehicle movement on the route from MBB Airport to Swami Vivekananda Ground from 11 AM to 6 PM. Alternate routes had been set up for vehicles involved in emergency services, DM added. 
 
Meanwhile, the red zone and no-fly zone will be in effect on 18th December from 6 AM to 8 PM in an area up to 3KM from Swami Vivekananda Ground.
