WORLD: Three Indian women tragically lost their lives in a serious car accident in the US over the weekend. The victims, identified as Rekhaben Patel, Sangitaben Patel, and Manishaben Patel from Gujarat’s Anand area, were involved in a collision in Greenville County, South Carolina.

According to local reports, the SUV they were traveling in was speeding and swerved off the road, eventually crashing over a bridge. The incident occurred on Interstate 85 at Staunton Bridge Road around noon. Sadly, the vehicle became airborne and struck trees after leaving the road. One other individual was injured and taken to the hospital for treatment.

Authorities have indicated that the SUV was traveling above the speed limit, and the impact of the crash was severe. Emergency responders, including the South Carolina Highway Patrol, Gannt Fire and Rescue, and Greenville County EMS, quickly arrived at the scene to assist.

The details surrounding the lone survivor’s condition remain unclear, but they were hospitalized following the crash. Family members were notified of the accident through the vehicle’s detection system and promptly alerted local authorities.
