A new feather was added to Oxygen Park with the opening of the Orchidarium. Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha inaugurated the Orchidarium at Oxygen Park in Shalbagan this afternoon. This state-of-the-art orchidarium has been developed to preserve and present orchid species in the state.

While inaugurating the Orchidarium, Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha expressed his contentment that today again another beauty has been added. This Orchidarium will make the tourism sector of Tripura more attractive. He also stated that this orchidarium has 50 species of orchids, out of which 20 species of orchids are from Tripura. The park also has different species of birds, plants, and different species of bamboo. The G20 delegates will also be visiting Oxygen Park.

The Chief Minister expressed hope, that Tripura’s tourism will improve in the coming days. By improving the quality of Tripura’s tourism, Tripura’s tourism will be promoted globally. He said that the people of Tripura are hospitable by nature. Tripura Government is ready to welcome the G20 delegates.

Note that Tripura is going to host two days G20 Science summit from Monday. The delegates will start arriving in the state on Sunday. The state’s capital city is making massive preparations for this prestigious International meet.
