STATE : BJP candidates have won two parliamentary constituencies in Tripura in the Lok Sabha elections. BJP candidate Biplab Kumar Deb in 1-Tripura West Parliamentary Constituency and BJP candidate Kriti Devi Debbarman in 2-Tripura East (ST) Parliamentary Constituency defeated their nearest candidates.

In the Tripura West parliamentary constituency, BJP candidate Biplab Kumar Deb defeated his nearest rival Ashish Kumar Saha of the Indian National Congress by 6,11,578 votes. BJP candidate Biplab Kumar Deb got 8,81,341 votes. Ashish Kumar Saha of the Indian National Congress got 2,69,763 votes.

In the Tripura East (ST) parliamentary constituency, BJP candidate Kriti Devi Debbarman defeated her nearest rival CPI(M) candidate Rajendra Reang by 4,86,819 votes. BJP candidate Kriti Devi Debbarman got 7,77,447 votes. CPI (M) candidate Rajendra Reang got 2,90,628 votes. This news has been informed by the office of the Chief Election Officer.
