Tripura’s girl shines on the global stage by clinching gold in the Junior Asia Cup Judo Championships in Macau, China.

Asmita Dey attended the “Macau Junior Judo Championships 2023” held in Macau China in the Women’s 48 kg category.

Former Tripura Sports School student Asmita hails from South Tripura. She displayed remarkable resolve and prowess to overcome each hurdle while competing against formidable opponents from 27 various countries, including Korea, Bhutan, America, Iraq, Kosovo, Kazakhstan, Qatar, and Turkey.

Manik Lal Deb, Asmita’s former coach, has shared his happiness on social media about her extraordinary accomplishment.
