Dubai: Minerva Academy Football Club has made history by becoming the first Indian team to win the prestigious Dana Cup in Denmark.
The Punjab-based club showcased dominant form throughout the tournament and concluded their remarkable campaign with a commanding 15-0 victory over Malta’s KFF Club in the Under-14 final.
This historic win comes just a week after the same squad retained their title at Sweden’s Gothia Cup — widely regarded as the Youth World Cup — becoming the first team ever to win consecutive championships in the tournament.
In the Dana Cup final, Raj led the charge with a hat-trick, while Rhythm, Tony Rajesh, Chetan K, Yohenba, and Denamoni each scored twice. Ajam and Chetan T also contributed with a goal each.
