The inhabitants of Tripura may be saved from a catastrophic weather catastrophe as a result, according to the state’s meteorological department.

The Meteorological Department has issued an alert for thunderstorms and heavy to extremely heavy precipitation. This downpour could begin on May 26. There is a possibility of extremely heavy rainfall in South District, Seapahijala, Gomati District on May 26. On May 27, there are chances of strong gusts and heavy rain in the North District, Unakoti District, Dhalai District, and Khowai District. On May 26 and 27, there are chances of heavy to moderate rainfall throughout the state, especially in the West District. Dr. Partha Roy, a meteorologist with the meteorological service, announced on Thursday that the state is expecting to see heavy to extremely heavy rainfall on May 26 and 27, prompting the issue of a yellow alert by authorities.
