STATE: Governor Indrasena Reddy Nallu visited the Solid Waste Management Plant and Common Bio-Medical Waste Treatment Facility Center at Debendrachandra Nagar on Tuesday. On the same day, the Governor also visited the Integrated Command and Control Center at Indranagar and the Flood Pump House at Banamalipur.
Speaking to the media, Governor Indrasena Reddy Nallu praised the Integrated Command and Control Center run by Agartala Municipal Corporation and emphasized the need to modernize the drainage system of Agartala.
During the visit to the Common Bio-Medical Waste Treatment Facility Centre, the Governor highlighted the significance of effective waste management and directed the authorities to ensure proper management of the center.
The Commissioner of AMC, Dr. Shailesh Kumar Yada, welcomed the Governor and provided detailed information about the development projects. Governor’s Secretary UK Chakma, officials of AMC engineers, and officials in charge of various projects were also present during the Governor’s visit.
