STATE: NCC provides a platform to learn about Indian philosophy, culture, history, music, civilization, and other subjects. Governor Indrasena Reddy Nallu emphasized this while inaugurating the 3-day conference at 21 Sector Assam Rifles in Agartala on Wednesday.

During the event, the Governor interacted with Major General Gagandeep, ADG of Assam Rifles, and Group Commanders. The ADG briefed the Governor about NCC’s plans in the North Eastern region, including Tripura, through a PowerPoint presentation. Additionally, NCC members from various colleges in the state performed cultural programs.

Governor Indrasena Reddy Nannu encouraged NCC cadets to pursue their dreams and expressed high appreciation for the training provided by NCC officers of various ranks. Gagandeep, Additional Director General, North Eastern Region of NCC, delivered the welcome address, noting that there are currently 5,300 NCC cadets in 95 schools and colleges in the state, including 2,500 girls cadets. Group commanders of NCC from North Eastern states participated in the conference.
