STATE : The video conference hall of the State Secretariat is well-equipped and modernized. The newly renovated video conference hall is well-equipped with modern technology. Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha inaugurated this modern and well-equipped video conference hall.

After the inauguration, the Chief Minister held the first meeting on e-office with the District Magistrates of all the districts of the state through video conference in this video conference hall.

Chief Secretary J.K Sinha, Principal Secretary of Information and Technology Department Puneet Agarwal, Secretary of PWD Department Abhishek Singh, and others were present on the occasion.

While addressing the meeting, the Chief Minister said that the Prime Minister of the country, Narendra Modi, has called for the creation of Digital India. For this purpose, he emphasized the use of modern technology. Responding to the call of the Prime Minister, the state government has started the work of digitization in every administrative sector of the government.

The Chief Minister then directed the District Magistrates to start e-offices at the district, sub-divisional, and block levels as soon as possible. It is gratifying that the process of e-office implementation in various district offices, sub-divisional administration offices, and BDO offices has started within a very short period.
