STATE : The Cabinet Ministry of the State Government on Thursday announced the creation and to fill new vacant posts in the different departments of the State.
Today the cabinet approved the opening of a dental college in the state. It has been decided to start this dental college in the (G+7) building of IGM Hospital Agartala. Already the delegation of the Dental Council of India visited the infrastructure of IGM Hospital and expressed their satisfaction.
During the Press Conference in the Secretariat ICA Minister, Sushanta Chowdhury informed that Under the Jail Department it was decided to appoint (male/female) Jail warders for 263 posts. He also informed to fill up 15 Food Inspectors (Group-C) will be appointed under Food Department, this recruitment process will be done through TPSC.
The Cabinet also approved filling up the posts of 17 ward secretaries under Agartala Municipal Corporation (AMC).
The ICA Minister said 34 vacant posts in Tripura Assembly will be filled. These posts are LDC cum Typist, Junior Reporter, Translator, Driver, Peon, Assistant Manager, Junior cook, and Room attender, this will be done through direct recruitment.
The Cabinet also decided to provide financial assistance of Rs 5000 per month under the Chief Minister Special Scholarship for Divyang scheme to visually impaired students studying in general degree colleges of the state.
It has been decided by the state government to transfer the teachers of government-aided schools across the state once in their working life.
The cabinet approved to increase in the allowance from Rs 8 thousand to 9,600 per month for the students who are doing veterinary science and animal husbandry internship under the Department of Animal Resources Development.
The Government has taken one important decision that 576 Home Guards will now get dress allowance of Rs 3895 every year. He also said this year’s first dress allowances to home guards will be paid in December.
The Cabinet has decided to create new 10 posts under the Information and Technology Department.
During the announcement of the cabinet decisions, ICA Minister Sushanta Chowdhury stated that the result of JRBT will be declared soon.
