A wretched incident happened in one of the clothing shop in Agartala. An employee has been viciously assaulted by a shopowner for asking about his salary, and the video surfaced on social media.

The victim employee named Surajit Tripura, he is working for the clothing shop called Mufti in Agartala for 3 months. The video was posted by Pradyot Manikya through his tweeter handle, it appears that the owner, who is wearing a black t-shirt and holding a rod in his hand, constantly slapped the employee in the video.

After the victim filed a complaint against them, the West Police Station detained the owner of the Mufti clothing store, Apu Saha, and one of his employees, Sagar Das. Tripura Police has stated that “further legal actions are being taken.”

On the other side, another CCTV footage came up that showed the employee first slapped his owner and started reportedly hurting two other staffs of the shop.

However, after the incident took place in the city, the Mufti Clothing brand terminated its relationship with the franchised store.
