Emnitent Educator, Philanthropist, and author of the country Sudha Murty on her arrival in Tripura, met Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha at his official residence in Agartala on Saturday.

After the meeting with Sudha Murty, CM Saha took his Twitter and said, “Met Eminent Educator, Philanthropist, Author, Chairperson of Infy_Foundation and Padma Bhushan Awardee Smt. Sudha Murthy at my official residence in Agartala, Tripura. Her unprecedented contribution in areas like social service & women empowerment is an inspiration for Society”.

Sudha Murty is the chairperson of the Infosys Foundation. She is married to the co-founder of Infosys, N. R. Narayana Murthy. Murty was awarded the Padma Shri, the fourth highest civilian award in India, for social work by the Government of India in 2006. Later in 2023, she was awarded the Padma Bhushan, the third-highest civilian award in India. She has initiated many projects in the fields of healthcare, education, art & culture animal welfare, and women empowerment.

Hence, it should be noted that British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak is her Son-in-law, as he married Murty’s daughter, fashion designer Akshata Murty.
