Justice Aparesh Kumar Singh Sworned-in as the Chief Justice of Tripura High Court on Monday morning at Raj Bhawan. Justice Singh is the 8th Chief Justice of Tripura High Court.

Governor Satyadeo Narain Arya administered the oath to him. Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha, Justice T Amarnath Goud, CS along other dignitaries were present during the Sworn-In ceremony.

Earlier, Chief Justice Aparesh Kumar Singh worked as a Judge of the Jharkhand High Court. The Union Ministry of Law and Justice, in a notification on April 11, had said that the President has appointed Justice Aparesh Kumar Singh, Judge of the Jharkhand High Court, to be the Chief Justice of the Tripura High Court with effect from the date he assumes charge of his office.
