As the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has succeeded in the recent Tripura Election, now the party has chosen Dr. Manik Saha as their leader of the legislature party and also the Chief Minister of Tripura for the second consecutive term.

On Monday, there was a general meeting of all the newly elected BJP MLAs who unanimously proposed the name of Dr. Manik Saha for the leader.

On the other hand, after being elected as the leader of the legislature party, Dr. Manik Saha called on Governor Satyadeo Narain Arya at Raj Bhavan to stake claim to form the Government in the State.

“After being elected as the Leader of the Legislature Party, today called on Hon’ble Governor of Tripura Shri Satyadeo Narain Arya Ji at Raj Bhavan to stake claim to form the Government in the state” tweeted Dr. Saha after the meet.

Earlier, Dr. Saha submitted his resignation as the Chief Minister of the State, and the Governor asked him to take care of as CM till the new Government was not formed. The upcoming Sworn-in ceremony will take place on March 8, at Swami Vivekananda Maidan in the presence of the Prime Minister, Home Minister, and all.
