Delegation from AIIMS Delhi visits Tripura to examine the health infrastructure; the chief minister reiterates his commitment to providing the best medical services.

A high-level professional team from AIIMS, New Delhi, visited Tripura today to evaluate and recommend improvements to the state’s health infrastructure, with a particular focus on the GBP Hospital and Agartala Government Medical College, despite the fact that the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) or a super-specialty hospital akin to AIIMS that was promised in the election manifesto has not yet been built.
The delegation’s visit included a crucial meeting at the T.I.F.T. Conference Hall with Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha and state health officials. Professor M. Srinivas, the Director of AIIMS, New Delhi, was the team leader. A number of top physicians and medical specialists were also on the team.

Dr. Manik Saha, the chief minister of Tripura, underlined the government’s steadfast dedication to offering the state’s citizens the best healthcare available. According to him, the state government is dedicated to provide its residents the greatest healthcare services available.
The meeting examined how AIIMS may help to improve medical administration, facilities, and patient care while focusing on the state and difficulties of the GBP Hospital. Health Secretary Kiran Gitte, IAS, CM’s OSD Dr. Parmananda Sarkar Banerjee, Director of Health Services, and other high-ranking officials and medical professionals attended the state side meeting.

In the upcoming months, the state administration hopes to improve Tripura’s medical care standards by utilizing AIIMS Delhi’s advice and experience.
