The proposed design of Unity Mall, which would be built in the Jute Mill Ground, Hapania, was shared on social media handle by Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha.

Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha shared on Twitter, “Today chaired a meeting with the officials concerned on the proposed ‘Unity Mall’ which is set to come up at Jute Mills ground, Hapania soon.”

“This mall will have commercial space of about 22,000 square meters with outlets from all states of the country as well as all districts from Tripura promoting Make in India & One District One Product,” the Chief Minister added.

CM Saha further wrote, “The project will generate earning opportunities & promote local artisans. The Unity Mall to be built at Rs. 130 crores will have a Commercial mall, multiplex, cultural auditorium, conference halls, exhibition halls, Virtual Reality, food court, kids play, iconic symbols of each state, beautiful landscaping & open public spaces.”

Earlier, Chief Minister Saha visited the proposed site on the Jute Mill Ground for Unity Mall. Also, neighboring country Bangladesh has shown their desire to exhibit its goods at the envisaged Unity Mall. In this Mall, some stalls will be kept for Bangladesh.
