STATE :The government has initiated the development of medical hubs in Tripura, significantly improving medical services in the state. Successful kidney transplants are now being performed, and efforts are underway to conduct liver transplants in the near future. Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha made this announcement while inaugurating the 21st Annual State Conference of the Hepatitis Foundation of Tripura at the Dasharath Deb Memorial Auditorium in Agartala.
During his speech, the Chief Minister emphasized the current government’s commitment to enhancing healthcare services. He noted that better health infrastructure is being developed, with plans for a super-specialty hospital aimed at providing modern health services to the residents of Tripura.
Dr. Saha highlighted that the government is dedicated to the welfare of the people and acknowledged the abundance of talented doctors and healthcare workers in the state. He mentioned that many complex health issues are being effectively addressed by Tripura’s medical professionals, resulting in a significant decrease in the number of patients being referred elsewhere for treatment.
He praised the Hepatitis Foundation of Tripura for its leadership in health and social programs since its inception in 2002. The Chief Minister also recognized the contributions of various members of the organization by presenting them with awards during the event. Additionally, he and the other guests unveiled a commemorative memento to mark the occasion.
