STATE : A review meeting on traffic management of Agartala City was held Saturday under the chairmanship of Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha.

In this meeting, detailed discussions and decisions were taken on the steps taken in traffic control, future plans, and various initiatives. The issue of parking management and traffic congestion in the Agartala city area dominated the discussion of the meeting.

The Chief Minister expressed concern at the discussion over the state’s daily increase in traffic. Thus, planning for potential road widening elements is essential. Chief Minister Saha stated that in order to reduce traffic congestion, traffic management must be improved. He also stressed the need on strictly adhering to traffic control regulations.

Commissioner of Agartala Municipal Corporation Dr. Shailesh Kumar Yadav discusses the possible aspects of parking management in the Agartala city area. Traffic Police Superintendent Manik Das also discussed traffic management in detail in the meeting.
