(The NE Star) Ultimate Music Talent Hunt, powered by Toyota and managed by Unitex Inc., officially held its Live Audition on September 8, 2026. The highly anticipated event began at 10:00 PM onwards at the Muktadhara Auditorium, Agartala. The event, which is affiliated with IPRS, brings together the region’s top musical talent.
Program Highlights:
• Welcome Address: The event was hosted by Debajit, who delivered the welcome address.
• Guest Felicitation and Speech: The host, Debajit, introduced and felicitated the guest. This was followed by a short speech from Mr G S Madhusudana (Regional Manager, TKM). Rittik Raj, Field Salesman at Toyota Kirloskar Motors, and Pranay Acharjee, Sales Head of Podder Toyota, were present as guests.
• Special Performances: The program featured special songs by Bhairabi Reincarnation, which ran for a total of 20 minutes.
• Introduction of Judges: A dedicated 3-minute segment was used to introduce the esteemed judges evaluating the competition. Purni Basu (Eminent singer) & Borkung Hrangkhawl (Eminent Rapper, Songwriter, Musician) graced the event as esteemed judges.
• Top Competitors: The core of the 3-hour live audition showcased the top talents from the state. From this group, the top two participants will be shortlisted to represent the state. This exact selection process will be mirrored across the other seven participating states.
• Finale Selection: The results for the shortlisted participants will be announced on September 16th, 2026, on the official NeStar Instagram page.
• Grand Finale: The respective state winners will compete at the finale, which will be held on September 27, 2026, in Guwahati.
The program concluded with a formal 5-minute vote of thanks delivered by Walo Kronu, the Regional Coordinator representing Unitex Inc.
