STATE :Today’s students are tomorrow’s future, and the government is dedicated to keeping this future generation healthy. The Mukhyamantri Sustho Shaishob Sustho Koishore Abhiyan (MSSSKA) has been launched to promote the holistic development of children and adolescents aged 0-19 years in the state. Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha announced this during the inauguration of the MSSSKA 7.0 program at the Ambasa Town Hall in the Dhalai district.

On this occasion, Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha stated that 11,36,000 children and teenagers in the state will be included in this campaign. Last year, 97.97 percent of children and adolescents participated in MSSSKA 6.0.

The campaign will offer around 12 health services, including antifungal medications, iron and folic acid supplements, vitamin A tablets, and vaccinations for tetanus and diphtheria, to ensure the complete well-being of children and adolescents aged 0-19 years. Health workers will visit homes, schools, universities, tea gardens, and orphanages to ensure the success of this initiative.

During the event, the Chief Minister emphasized that residents do not need to go abroad for superior medical care, as comprehensive health services are available within the state. People are encouraged to have confidence in the state’s healthcare services. The DoNER Ministry has allocated ₹515 crores for the development of health infrastructure and the expansion of advanced health services in the state.
