STATE : The agreement with the private company FEDCO has been terminated due to its incapacity to supply the state’s consumers with adequate electrical service. At a press conference held on Friday in the press conference hall, Power Minister Ratan Lal Nath revealed this information. According to him, the State Government and the private enterprise FEDCO inked an agreement on July 1, 2020, to offer power customers high-quality services.

The State Government cannot remain silent on this issue as it is responsible to the people. So, on March 4, FEDCO was given a notice asking them to improve the electricity service. But it has been seen that the electricity service has not improved but is getting worse. So there was no option but to cancel the contract with them, Ratan Lal Nath said.

Concurrently, the Power Minister underscored that each of the 370 employees under FEDCO will be engaged in the work related to power services. In other words, none of them will be fired.
