The Shishu Bihar H/S School Batch of 2022, in association with Pratidin Tripura, A Venture of TOTELL, proudly organized the first Edition of Music Concert & Quiz ( MCQ ) an initiative to raise awareness about the critical issue of drug abuse amongst youth on July 6. This initiative aims to bring together the community for a day of music, entertainment, and education.
The event is supported by Tripura State Aids Control Society, Centroid, AstroAnswer, Dr. Sk Sir ‘s Biology Classes ,Aimers, ABS Fitness Gym, MS Sports, Gigs Music and Cafe Studio, Marcos Security and Bouncer, Edu Scope, Gupta’s Classes, Nanda Optics, Interior Guru, Kathi Junction, , Sound Beats, Ganesh Arts, and Unique Carrier Solutions, Interior Decor, and TNL.
Attendees enjoyed the cultural performances by Chakrabyuha, Agragami , Bandish Geetika, rap artists- Godfather & Syeter, and various other acts, creating a vibrant and engaging atmosphere. The main highlight of the event was the Inter School Quiz competition (MCQ) focused on spreading knowledge and awareness about the dangers of drug abuse. A total of 52 teams across various schools participated in the quiz competition, with six teams qualifying for the final round. The winners are Rohan Shil and Prasang Das, with Utsav Das and Saswata Bhattacharjee as the first runners-up, and Sourav Chowdhury and Sayan Naha as the second runners-up.
This initiative is more than just an entertainment event; it is a movement to inspire and educate the younger generation about the harmful effects of drug abuse and the importance of making healthy life choices. By combining the power of music and knowledge, the organizers hope to create a lasting impact on the youth of Agartala and beyond.
