STATE : Department of Food, Civil Supplies and Consumer Affairs in a press release said, Due to heavy rains and the impact of Cyclone Remal, the transport of essential commodities on rail and road routes in the state is somewhat disrupted, so there may be a shortage of fuel oil.

Due to this apprehension, the petrol pumps in the state have been witnessing an unusual rush of people, especially two-wheeler drivers, to collect fuel for the past two days.

In this context, it is informed for the information of the people of the state that the state currently has sufficient fuel oil reserves.

Besides, food and various daily necessities are also well stocked. Therefore, the state government is requesting the people not to panic unnecessarily about the crisis of these commodities.
