Early on Tuesday, emails containing bomb threats were received by up to 100 schools in Delhi and the National Capital Region (NCR). It prompted officials to request that parents collect their children from schools and government agencies to begin an investigation. Authorities claimed that multiple hospitals on Monday and airports in the previous two days had received threats similar to this one.

Schools in Delhi and NCR received bomb threat emails originating from Russia. Central agencies, Delhi Police, Noida Police, and NIA are coordinating and sharing information.

Senior police officers claimed that at around four in the morning, emails threatening to blow up educational institutions, such as Sanskriti School in Chanakyapuri, DPS in R K Puram, and Vasant Kunj in the Southern district, were sent to all of the schools.

Police suspect school databases were compromised, leading to emails being sent. The Special Cell and IB officials are investigating, while the Bomb Squad, Delhi Police, and cyber police stations are at schools.
Amity Group’s Amity Pushp Vihar and Saket schools have been evacuated due to bomb threats, and the school has been closed until further instructions are given.

According to Sudha Acharya, the principal of ITL Public School and a former chair of the National Progressive Schools Conference, “five schools in the Southwest district are evacuating the schools.”
Emails threatening bombs have been received in various states, including airports and hospitals in Delhi. DPS Noida has received information about the threat, and teams of police, fire tenders, and bomb squad are present.
