STATE: Governor Indra Sena Reddy Nallu inaugurated the celebration of World Malaria Day today at the Solanki Hall of Raj Bhavan, Agartala.
Inaugurating the event, the governor said that World Malaria Day is observed every year to create awareness for malaria control and eradication. The governor urged all concerned to come forward unitedly to eradicate malaria from the state.
Vinay Bhushan Das, Joint Director, National Health Mission, gave the welcome address on the occasion. State Malaria Officer Abhijit Das discusses malaria eradication in detail.
Chief Medical Officer of West Tripura District Dr. Ranjan Biswas, the Medical Officer in charge of Raj Bhavan Amlan Dutta, and Medical Officer Dr. Manik Roy were present on the occasion.
