STATE : Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha attended the Tripura Police Week Parade at Monoranjan Debbarma Smriti stadium, A.D Nagar, on Wednesday morning.

Chief Minister lauded the role of Tripura Police for their tireless efforts in working to make Tripura drug and crime-free.

According to the Chief Minister, there has been a notable improvement in the overall crime picture in 2023, as compared to 2022. It includes crimes linked to dowries, theft, dacoity, murder, and other offenses. Compared to 2023, the number of property crimes decreased by 7 percent, and the number of murders decreased by 7 percent.

Additionally, the Chief Minister stated that the state’s overall level of law and order is satisfactory. The number of major crimes is dropping. Arresting unlawful infiltrators, especially Bangladeshis and Rohingyas, has also proven to be a significant success.

On the other hand, Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha distributed various prizes among the policemen, in various categories.
