STATE: On the 68th death anniversary, a statue of Dr. BR Ambedkar was unveiled on the premises of the Tripura Legislative Assembly by Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha on Wednesday.

The Chief Minister said in the event that Dr. BR Ambedkar’s life is an institution formed through numerous setbacks. The way he worked for the backward people of the country is still relevant today. His efforts to uplift the backward people of society gave rise to a social movement.

CM also remarked, “The Scheduled Caste Welfare Department of the State Government also deserves appreciation for the schemes it is implementing for the people of the State.”
