STATE: The North Eastern Frontier Railway has decided to operate special trains to clear the extra rush for the Diwali festival.

The two special trains will run between Agartala – Dharmanagar – Agartala and Agartala – Sabroom – Agartala, which will be operated from November 13 to 16, next on both directions.

On notification, the NFR said, “Special Train between Agartala – Dharmanagar will depart from Agartala at 05:00 hours to reach Dharmanagar at 08:50 hours. While Special Train between Dharmanagar – Agartala will depart from Dharmanagar railway station at 10:30 hours to reach Agartala at 14:05 hours.”

On the other hand, a special train between Agartala – Sabroom will depart from Agartala at 14:30 hours to reach Sabroom at 16:50 hours. Similarly, the Special Train between Sabroom – Agartala will depart from Sabroom at 17:20 hours to reach Agartala at 19:45 hours.”
