STATE: Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha inspected the progress of Government buildings, institutions, and various government development activities in Agartala on Thursday.

CM Saha, after inspecting cited to the media that special importance has been given to the development and maintenance of infrastructure in Tripura. It is possible to know the actual condition of existing infrastructure only by regular inspection. Also, necessary steps can be taken quickly to solve any problem.

He said the purpose of this visit is to see the condition of various government buildings along with inspecting the speed up of the works by knowing the actual status of all the project works that have already been approved.

He added that in this regard, wherever problems were found, the concerned officials have been instructed to solve them quickly.

The Chief Minister first visited the Muktadhara Auditorium in Agartala and reviewed various issues, including infrastructure. He laid a special emphasis on maintaining the cleanliness and beautification of the auditorium.

After this, Dr. Manik Saha visited Nazrul Kalakshetra. During the visit, he came to know about some of the problems there, after which he directed the concerned officials to take necessary measures to resolve them quickly.

Besides this, the Chief Minister visited the National School of Drama, Sangeet Natak Academy, North East Regional Center of Lalitkala Academy, and Tripura Institute of Film and Television Institute established at Nazrul Kalakshetra.

There, he talked to the officials and students of the institutes and learned about various issues. In this regard, the Chief Minister expressed satisfaction seeing the enthusiasm and excitement of the students of various courses at the Tripura Film and Television Institute.

CM said that all these institutes play a special role in training children from different places, including Tripura, in various fields, including art, culture, acting, and music.

From there, the Chief Minister visited the Tripura State Forensic Science Laboratory at Narsingarh. During the visit, the Chief Minister was informed about the various activities of the Forensic Science Laboratory.

Chief Minister also visited the proposed site for the new building of the Diploma Course of Tripura Institute of Technology at Narsingarh. CM talked about the project planning with the engineers present there. Further, he also visited the newly constructed building of the Tripura Institute of Technology.

Finally, the Chief Minister visited the construction site of the multi-storied (B+G+14) state administration building at Gurkhabasti.

The multi-storied building will bring all Government offices under one roof. This project is targeted to be completed in about two and a half years. The Chief Minister directed the construction company to complete the work while maintaining the quality within the specified time frame.
