For overall success in 6 areas of the Digital India Land Records Modernization Programme (DILRMP), Tripura has been awarded the “Bhoomi Samman” Platinum Award 2023.

In a ceremony held on Tuesday in the Plenary Hall of Vigyan Bhawan, New Delhi, President Droupadi Mumu handed the Bhoomi Samman Platinum Award 2023 to the Revenue Department of the State Government along with 7 districts of the State.

President of India Droupadi Murmu presented the “Bhoomi Samman” on Tuesday to 9 State Secretaries and 68 District Collectors along with their teams.

West Tripura District, Khowai District, Dhalai District, Unakoti District, Gomati District, Sepahijala District, and South Tripura District are the seven districts in the state that were given this honor.

On behalf of the 7 districts, West Tripura District Magistrate and Associate Debapriya Bardhan, Khowai District Magistrate and Associate Dilip Kumar Chakma, Dhalai District Magistrate and Associate Dr. Siddharth Shiv Jaiswal, Unakoti District Magistrate and Associate Tarit Kanti Chakma, Gomati District Magistrate and Associate Govekar Mayur Ratilal, South Tripura District Magistrate Saju Vaheed A, received the award on behalf of 7 districts.

On the other hand, The Director of Land Reforms and Land Settlement Department, Ratnajit Debbarma, accepted the award on behalf of Sepahijala District Magistrate and Associate Dr. Vishal Kumar.

Whereas, Puneet Agarwal, Principal Secretary of the Department of Revenue, and Ratnajit Debbarma, Director of the Department of Land Reforms and Land Settlement, accepted the award on behalf of the state.

Additionally, Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha expressed his joy through his Social Media handles.
