Under the initiative of the Tripura State Pharmaceutical Price Monitoring and Resource Unit (TPMRU), an awareness seminar was organised in Udaipur on Saturday.

Tripura State Pharmaceutical Price Monitoring and Resource Unit is an organisation created under the direction of the National Drug Regulatory Authority under the Ministry of Chemicals and Fertilizers, Government of India, and is managed under the supervision of the State Drugs Controller.

On Saturday afternoon in the conference hall of the Udaipur Zilla Parishad office, Abhishek Deb Roy, MLA, K. Sinha, Deputy Drugs Controller, Debal Deb Roy, Chairman, Gomati Zilla Parishad, Dr.Kamal Reang, Chief Medical Officer, Gomati Tripura.

In this seminar, all issues related to drug price regulation and control were discussed among the Gomati District Members of the Tripura Chemist and Druggist Association.

Similarly, the use of the Pharma Sahi Dam mobile app, its benefits, and how this app can help one in checking the price of medicines while buying these medicines in their daily life were discussed.
