Tripura Board of Secondary Examination (TBSE) declared the Board Examination results of Madhyamik, Madrasa Alim, Higher Secondary, and Madrasa Fazil on Monday.
Like every year, at the scheduled time, TBSE arranged a press conference to announce the results. This year overall percentage for Madhyamik stands at 86.02, and for H.S. (+2), the overall percentage stands at 83.24.
Taking about district-level, Gomati district has the highest pass rate in Madhyamik examinations at the district level. The pass rate in this district is 92.30 percent. The lowest pass rate is in North Tripura district. The pass rate in this district is 77.80 percent.
Similarly, Sipahijala district has the highest pass rate at the district level in HS+2 examinations. The pass rate in this district is 88.60 percent. The lowest pass rate is in the Dhalai district. The pass rate in this district is 69.96 percent.
This year 38,129 appeared for Madhyamik examinations, of which 17,939 were male students, 20,189 were female students, and 1 third gender Candidate. There were 77 examination centers where the exam was conducted.
On the other hand, 33,453 examinees appeared for the Higher Secondary examination, Out of which 15,592 were males, and 17,861 were females. There were a total of 64 examination centers there for the Higher Secondary examination.
West Tripura district had the highest number of candidates in the Secondary and Higher Secondary examinations at the district level, and Khowai and Unkoti districts had the lowest number of candidates respectively.
Korbook sub-division has the highest pass rate for secondary and higher secondary at the sub-divisional level. Panisagar and Longtarai Valley sub-division has the lowest pass rate respectively.
Board President Dr. Bhavatosh Saha also stated that in this year’s Madhyamik examinations, 214 schools and 19 schools in HS+2 examinations have recorded 100 percent of passed-out students.
It may be noted that the Higher Secondary and Madrasa Fazil Examination conducted by the Tripura Board of Secondary Education started from March 15 to April 19, while the Secondary and Madrasa Alim Examination started from March 16 to April 18.
Board President further stated, “In the Tripura Tribal Areas Autonomous District Council, 86.02 percent of students achieved qualifying marks in Class X examinations and 83.24 percent in Class XII examinations conducted by the TBSE. In Class X this year, 11,238 students registered their names, 113 did not appear, 1,583 failed, and 9,582 qualified for the Board examination. In Class XII this year, 7,872 students registered their names, 89 did not appear, 1,700 failed, and 6,083 bagged qualifying scores”.
