Tripura’s capital finally received much-needed rainfall providing relief from the ongoing scorching heat wave. The temperature drops in Agartala after two hours of intense thundershowers.
On Friday, most of the day was partly cloudy, and as per IMD’s earlier Weather forecast, as predicted, thunderstorms and lightning are very like to occur at isolated places over all the districts of Tripura.
As per sources, some districts of the state did experience hailstorms with stormy winds since Friday afternoon.
The ongoing heat wave makes everyone’s headache as excessive heat waves caught Tripura. This summer, the temperature has steadily increased to roughly 38–39° Celsius per day, which is close to 40. The State Government has already shut all the Government, Government aided and Private educational institutions from April 18 for 6 days.
Notably, the government also instructed all the District Magistrates of the state to stay alert due to the heat wave.
