Gurugram Police have arrested one person in connection with a case related to the theft of flower pots set for the ongoing G20 event.

Earlier, a video had gone viral on social media, which showed two people stealing the flower pots kept for decoration on the NH-48 Delhi-Gurugram expressway.

The accused person has been identified as 50-year-old Manmohan, a resident of Gurugram by the Gurugram Police. Police also recovered stolen flower pots and an SUV, which was used in the crime, from the arrested accused, they said.

An official of the Gurugram Metropolitan Development Authority (GMDA) has been sacked after his name was revealed by the arrested accused, GMDA said.
