Indian Government, including Indian Army, extended their hands of help to the people of Turkey. A heartwarming picture of a Turkish Woman hugging a woman from the Indian Army in an earthquake-affected area during rescue and relief operations in Turkey has surfaced on social media.

The picture was shared by the official Twitter handle of the Additional Directorate General of Public Information (ADG PI) of the Indian Army with the caption: “We care”.

The Indian Army has deployed disaster relief teams and set up a field hospital to keep the victims of the recent Earthquake that hit Turkey.

“The army field hospital in Iskenderun, Hatay, Türkiye has started functioning with running Medical, Surgical & Emergency Wards; X-Ray Lab & Medical Store”: External Affairs Minister Dr. S. Jaishankar tweeted on Thursday.

According to Jaishankar, The Additional Directorate General of Public Information team will work 24×7 to provide relief to the affected people.
